Could not connect to the server
Monema App
This is because the application is unable to connect to Monema's servers. In this case, please check the following:
No internet or intermittent connection
First of all, check if you have an internet connection or if it is frequently blocked.
- Try restarting your router. If you experience frequent crashes or have no internet connection, among many other causes.
- If you are using a laptop or PC connected via Wi-Fi. Make sure you are not too far from the router and that there are not too many obstacles between you and the router. Mirrors in particular can cause interference.
- Perform a speed test and verify that you have at least 100 Mb/s download/upload speed. Although this is not strictly necessary, it is highly recommended. This is available from any internet search engine.
- If you are connected via a laptop, verify that Wi-Fi is turned on.
- If you are using a network cable. Check that it is in good condition, disconnect and reconnect it, and ultimately try replacing it with another one.
- If you are using switch devices. Try disconnecting them from the power supply and reconnecting them to restart them.
Firewall
Sometimes your internet connection may be working properly, but the application still fails to connect to Monema's servers. In this case, there are two important steps to take:
- If you have Windows. Check that the Monema application is not blocked by any firewall input/output rules. We explain how to do this in the following article:
- The router firewall or firewall device may be blocking the audio and signaling packets necessary for the application to function properly. In this case, we strongly recommend that you review the following article, in which we explain which ports and configurations this application requires.
